The Effect of Universal Design for Person with Disabilities in University of Mercu Buana and Daegu University, South Korea

Interior design isn't  just the science of interior space that meets the needs of function and aesthetics. Each building is designed and built to fulfill certain functions, for example hotels, apartments, and houses serves as a means of accommodation, while restaurants serves as a commercial building that meets the needs of food. The public building must be accessible and all users including person with disabilities thai is users can see or not (blind), walkers and wheelchair users, and hearing disabled  (deaf/hard of hearing). Based on the university building functions as a learing and teaching activity for all users including students with disabilities. Studi of universal design on  university of Mercu Buana campus es in Jakarta and Daegu University in Daegu (South Korea) with research method of  observation, literature data and study of comparison, then analyze the data using exposure methods, namely examination of universal design standard data (Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 14 / PRT / M / 2017 ) . The purpose of this study is to identity whether the two universities are in accordance with the standard of 7 universal design principls.
