About the Journal
Indonesian Journal of Disability Studies is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal published by the Brawijaya University Center for Disability Services (UB CDS), Malang, Indonesia. The journal publishes original papers at the forefront of disability research, covering research in disability studies, accessibility, inclusive education, social inclusion and intersectionality.
IJDS (P-ISSN: 2355-2158, e-ISSN: 2654-4148) is committed to developing theoretical and practical knowledge about disability and promoting the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in society.
Indonesian Journal of Disability Studies publishes manuscripts in the field of disability studies:
- Disability studies;
- Inclusive education;
- Social and policy inclusion;
- Accessibility;
- Inclusive technologies and infrastructures;
- Disability and intersectionality.
Published twice a year (May & November), the journal is available free of charge in both print and online versions.

Current Issue
This issue has been available online since July 10th, 2024. The authors of this issue came from four different countries, Australia, Japan, India, and Indonesia.
